Partnerships That Produce Results
The best partnerships don't end when a campaign does.
At FinPubConnect, the goal isn't simply to recruit affiliates or generate a spike in sales. It's to find the right partners, create opportunities that work for both sides, and develop relationships that can continue creating value long after the first promotion.
Here are a few examples of what that looks like in practice.
Altos Trading × Boomer Trader
Turning the Right Introduction Into a High-Performing Partnership
The Challenge
Altos Trading has several strong trading products and an experienced educator in Jeff Tompkins. The challenge wasn't simply finding more affiliates; it was identifying partners with the right audience, credibility, and platform to introduce Jeff to new traders in an authentic way.
The Opportunity
I identified the Boomer Trader YouTube channel as a strong potential fit.
Rather than approaching the relationship as a traditional affiliate placement, we developed an opportunity centered around something much more valuable to the audience: a dedicated educational webinar featuring Jeff.
That gave Boomer Trader useful content for its community while giving Altos Trading an opportunity to demonstrate Jeff's expertise directly to a highly relevant audience.
The campaign was the starting point. The relationship is the long-term asset.
What We Did
Over 2.5 years, I have worked closely with the NetPicks team to grow and manage the affiliate channel through:
Personalized outreach and relationship development
Product launches and promotional campaigns
Ongoing communication and support
Evergreen promotional opportunities
Performance analysis and optimization
The focus was on building a network of partners who understood the NetPicks offers, had audiences that aligned with them, and had reasons to continue working with the company.
What We Did
I identified and developed the relationship, helped bring the two parties together, and worked with them to create a dedicated webinar promotion.
The campaign was designed to do more than generate clicks. It introduced Jeff and Altos Trading to the audience through education first, giving prospective customers an opportunity to experience the strategy and the person behind it before making a purchasing decision.
The Results
71% compound annual growth in the affiliate program
125+ affiliate partners added to the network
Along the way, the program developed a repeatable cadence of launches, evergreen promotions, and partner outreach that made affiliate marketing a more consistent part of the company's overall growth strategy.
The Results
36 product sales generated
1,800+ webinar views
66,000+ audience reach
The campaign successfully introduced Jeff Tompkins and Altos Trading to a highly engaged trading audience while generating measurable revenue from the partnership.
What Happened Next
The relationships didn't disappear when individual launches ended.
Partners recruited for one opportunity became candidates for future launches. Strong performers could be introduced to new products. Existing relationships could be reactivated, expanded, and developed over time.
That's where the compounding effect of affiliate marketing really begins.
What Happened Next
Perhaps the most important result wasn't the 36 sales.
It was the relationship that came out of the campaign.
Instead of ending when the webinar ended, the promotion established a new long-term affiliate relationship between Altos Trading and Boomer Trader, creating the potential for additional content, promotions, introductions, and revenue opportunities in the future.
That's the kind of partnership FinPubConnect is built to create.
NetPicks
Turning Affiliate Marketing Into a Sustainable Growth Channel
The Challenge
NetPicks already had an established business, strong trading products, and experience working with affiliates. The opportunity was to create more consistency around the channel—expanding the partner network, increasing participation, and developing a reliable promotional cadence that could generate meaningful revenue throughout the year.
The Opportunity
Rather than looking at affiliate marketing as a collection of individual promotions, we saw an opportunity to build a much broader partner ecosystem.
That meant continually finding new publishers, strengthening relationships with existing affiliates, creating compelling reasons for partners to promote, and giving them regular opportunities to participate through launches and evergreen campaigns.
A good launch creates revenue. A good partnership creates opportunities for years.
